These are a beautiful and highly collectible pair of iridescent art glass vases by Richard Golding model #515. Golding has been involved with glass since he set up Okra Glass in 1979. He is renowned for his efficient furnaces, glass recipes and designs, and use of iridescence, reduction, color, and surface decoration. Golding’s glass is highly collectible and is featured in museums, galleries, and private collections around the world. Originally inspired by artists such as Carder, Gallé, Daum, and Tiffany, his work is pushing boundaries, with new pieces involving intricate layered, surface decoration, flameworking, cutting, and color combinations.
