Mid 18th Century Wax Portraits of George II and Queen Anne, Pair

These came from a South Florida estate, they are 18th century bas relief wax portraits of George II and Queen Anne of England, in matching frames which we are selling as a pair. The actual portraits are in remarkably good condition with no discernable damage. The frames have some minor dings, scratches, gilding loss and cracks commensurate with age and normal use. There is some visible separation at the frame miter joints which do not seem to structurally affect the artwork. We have not carried out any restoration apart from a sympathetic cleaning.
