This is a very large scale individually hand crafted heavily glazed porcelain figure of a young fisherman boy holding his nets and woven wicker baskets. A fabulous piece beautifully made and finished in a Cornish cream color being heavily glazed for effect. Has two minor chips that do not detract from this immersive piece, one on the base and another on the basket top (see photos). Impressed inner underside of hollow base “BRETBY 980 England” and measure 33″(h) x 14″(w) x 12″(d).
