A beautiful French wall sconce from the late 19th century. We believe it was originally a gas lamp but it has since been wired to modern US code and retrofitted for electric candle-style bulbs.
This is a beautiful French wall sconce from the late 19th century. We believe it was originally a gas lamp but it has since been wired to modern US code and retrofitted for electric candle-style bulbs. The etched glass shades feature a decorative floral and leaf design and the bonze has a classical column, rope and coronet. This classical luminaire will lift and illuminate any nook in your home.
CONDITION
This lamp is wired and ready to mount to a wall, and it displays very well. The glass shades are in very good and undamaged condition. The bronze lamp is also in great condition with only nominal wear commensurate with age and normal use. We have not cleaned the lamp and it retains its original patina.
